SYLVIA PACHECO

Sylvia Pacheco is an illustrator and graphic designer currently based in Rhode Island. She holds a BFA in Illustration and a BS in Psychology from UMASS Dartmouth, and has been working in the toy industry since 2016. Her professional work engages with all aspects of product and toy design - market research, 2D and 3D concept art, prototyping, style guide development, art direction, factory-ready technical files, direct communication with manufacturers, sample revisions, sell sheets, and whatever projects the company needs.

The focus of her personal work is writing, advocacy and activism, illustration, needle felting, game and concept art, and paper cut portraits.

She spends her free time enjoying life with her husband Beau, creating new designs for her small business Noodlecat Studio, listening to audiobooks and 70s music on nature walks, playing video games, and exploring/collecting illustrations and artist-made items, not unlike a dragon collecting treasure. She is proudly LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and a child of Azorean immigrants. She has a passion for learning and helping others and is often spotted cuddling cats.
